The Comeback
Sharks vs Los Angeles
6 - 5
19 April, 2011
It didn't look good for San Jose in Game 3 of the 2011 Quarterfinals. Down by four goals in the second period against Los Angeles, the Sharks rallied. Goals from Patrick Marleau, Ryane Clowe (2), Logan Couture, and Joe Pavelski tied the game at 5, pushing it to overtime. San Jose won it 3 minutes into overtime when Devin Setoguchi scored off a great pass from Marleau.

2000 Western Conference Quarters: Game 7

Nolan's 90 footer
Sharks vs St. Louis
3 - 1
25 April, 2000
San Jose led by a goal in Game 7 of the Quarterfinals against St. Louis when Owen Nolan launched a shot from 90 feet out. Goalie Roman Turek misplayed it, deflecting the puck into the goal. That goal proved to be the game-winner, as the Sharks won 3-1 to advance to the Semifinals.

2008 Western Conference Quarters: Game 4

Thornton's winner
Sharks vs Calgary
3 - 2
15 April, 2008
With Game 4 of the 2008 Quarterfinals tied at 2 and heading to overtime, Joe Thornton had other plans. With only 7.3 seconds remaining, Thornton deflected Douglas Murray's shot into the net, giving San Jose the win and the momentum to eventually win the series in seven games.

1994 Western Conference Quarters: Game 7

The Upset
Sharks vs Detroit
3 - 2
30 April, 1994
As the underdogs against #1 seed Detroit in the 1994 Playoffs, San Jose faced a tied game in the third period of Game 7. Detroit goalie Chris Osgood made a critical error, playing the puck into the boards where Jamie Baker waited. Baker scored into the empty net, securing a monumental upset and sending the Sharks to the Semifinals.
